The Cottage

This recently renovated stone built cottage, sleeps 2/3, the accommodation is all on one floor and is centrally heated. It is linked to the main house by an attractive flagged courtyard.

 A private entrance opens onto a small hall, which has a second cloakroom/toilet off to the right and a fully equipped kitchen/dinette to the left. A comfortable lounge can be found beyond the kitchen. The lounge is spacious and fitted with an electric fire, television, DVD and video recorder. A short passage leads to a spacious en-suite bedroom equipped with a super king size bed. This can be converted to two single beds if requested beforehand. A "put-you-up" style of occasional single bed can be made available for a third person if advance notice is given. All bed linen and tea towels are provided.

Patio doors from the lounge open out to a secluded walled garden and a paved area equipped with tables and chairs. Sun loungers and a small barbeque are available on request.  The garden also has other seating areas.

Ample parking (at owners risk) is available at the front of our house, less than 50 feet (15 metres) from the cottage.  

Because smoking is harmful, unpleasant and the fact that most people dislike stale tobacco smoke, the cottage is a NO SMOKING ZONE. Please help to maintain this policy.

Pets are welcome by arrangement, but they should be kept out of the bedroom. Accidents can happen, so please clean up after them.
